Introduction

Everest View Luxury Trekking an exclusive and enjoyable short adventure where the walk takes you to high Khumbu valley facing the magnificent panorama of Mid Eastern Himalaya with Mt. Everest. Travelers will be surprised to find that remote areas of Everest can offer nice comfort of the deluxe lodge, resorts, and hotels where one might not have expected the world’s highest country. Once you land at Lukla town after taking a short scenic flight from Kathmandu, where trekkers will be fascinated noticing many good lodges and hotels that Lukla provides along with grand views of snow-capped peaks. Everest view luxury trekking, From Lukla’s walk, starts heading down to follow the banks of Dudh Kosi River upstream as route leads through many nice Sherpa villages with Buddhist monuments of prayer stone walls and spinning bells along the trail.

The walk continues after an overnight in Phakding and Monjo villages in the comfort of great luxury lodges in Yeti Mountain Home with warm Sherpa hospitality, slowly heading into Sagarmatha National Park which is listed in world heritage sites since 1979. Sagarmatha a name for Everest in Nepal while local Sherpa calls as Chomolungma of Tibetan origin language where both names mean ‘Great Mother’, as walk proceeds heading higher to reach famous Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar a large village nearly a town a major hub of Khumbu Sherpa and as well for trekkers, with facilities of banks, ATM and many shops and well-stocked stores. At Namche where once a week a great busy and colorful bazaar/market takes place on Saturday, an interesting place to soak within local culture and custom of age-old heritage traditional lifestyle.

From Namche adventure leads higher up facing incredible views of surrounding peaks with Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Kantega, Thamersarkhu and Kongde range of mountains. Finally, walk leads to our highest destination at Everest View Hotel located above 3,880 m high facing spectacular panorama of snow-capped peaks with towering pyramid-shaped views of Mt. Everest. Everest View Hotel set on a tranquil environment surrounded by the cool shade of beautiful rhododendron, pines, firs, junipers and birch trees situated on a high hilltop ridge, a perfect place for alluring views of mountains and in great comfort of Luxury hotels.

After enjoying marvelous time with glorious views of Mt. Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla 2,860 m/ 9,383 ft and trek to Phakding 2,640 m / 8,712 ft - 04 hrs walk and 30 mins flight. Overnight in Phakding at Yeti Mountain Home
Early morning depart from the hotel for transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport, where short sweeping flight in a small aircraft takes you to land at Lukla town airport, during 30 minutes flight enjoys the panorama of Himalayan peaks with Everest.
At Lukla where the air gets cooler as the plane lands at Tenzing-Hillary airport, a tribute to late mountaineers the first conqueror of Mt. Everest on May 29th, 1953. From Lukla walk into the street steeped with shops, stores and many nice restaurants including hotels. As walk follows downhill and into nice villages of Choplung-Ghat to reach Phakding located by the Dudh Kosi River where overnight stops in the comfort of lovely accommodation at Yeti Mountain Home, a chain resorts around Khumbu area.

Day 02: Trek to Monjo 2,835 m / 9,301ft - 03 hrs at Yeti Mountain Home.
Morning from Phakding where walk today lead for short few hours within a river gorge and crossing bridges few times past villages of Toc-Toc and Benkar to reach at Monjo with short down and ups. Monjo a nice village with views of Thermasarkhu, Khumbi-la, and Kongde peaks overnight in a nice accommodation at Yeti Mountain Home, with time to browse around Monjo to catch local customs and culture.

Day 03: Trek to Namche 3,440 m / 11,352 at Yeti Mountain Home.
Morning short walk to enter Sagarmatha National Park enriched with exotic flora and fauna with world highest peaks, Sagarmatha a name in Nepalese for Everest, while Sherpa calls Chomolungma of Tibetan origin.
From here obtaining and checking TIMS (Trekking Information Management Systems) permits and national park entrance tickets, then cross over a bridge to Jorsalle the last village before Namche. After Jorsalle walks on the river bed with short ups and down within forest of pines and rhododendron and from the last high bridge where the climb starts on winding uphill with views of Everest and other range of peaks on a clear morning.

Walk proceeds reaching the large village of Namche Bazaar for lunch and an overnight stop in Yeti Mountain Home Resorts, with time to walk the streets of Namche laden with shops, stores, restaurants, and hotels include banks and ATM facilities. Namche a big village nearly a moderate town the main hub of Khumbu Sherpa
and as well for trekkers an ideal place with heights for rest to support acclimatization for people going much higher areas beyond 4,000 and 5,000 m altitude range.

Day 04: Trek to Everest View Point 3,880 m / 12,804 ft - 03 hrs walks
and at Everest View Hotel 
Another short morning walks to reach at Everest View Hotel located higher up at the height of above 3,880 m, where the route leads to climbing from the top of Namche hill with aerial views of Namche, on reaching at ridge top with an old short airstrip of Syangboche. From here enjoying views along the walk a short hour takes you at Everest View Point at Everest View Hotel the highest spot of the adventure and in the comfort of nice luxury accommodation facing views of Everest and range of peaks.


Day 05: At Everest View Hotel for short excursion and to enjoy the view.
Enjoy free and leisure day with fabulous views of high snow-capped mountains, on this day one can enjoy hike and excursion to nearby villages of Khumjung and Khunde located on a glacial valley. Khunde and Khumjung villages situated beneath the sacred peak of Khumbu-la the patron god of Khumbu Sherpa where one can visit the old monastery of Khumjung where you can witness a scalp believed to be of a yeti, and walk to Khunde and visit its only hospital.

Day 06: Trek to Namche and in Yeti Mountain Home -02 hrs.
After a marvelous and enjoyable moment at Everest View Hotel catching morning views, then head downhill to Namche Bazaar for lunch and overnight stop with ample time for a local walk around the streets of Namche and visit its national park museum of great interest.


Day 07: Trek to Phakding -05 hrs at Yeti Mountain Home.
Enjoying grand scenic moments head downhill to Dudh Kosi River valley and gorge to reach Sagarmatha National Park and at Monjo village, from here crossing over a long suspension bridge to reach back at Phakding for an overnight stop.

Day 08: Trek to Lukla - 04 hrs at Yeti Mountain Home
Morning walk leads at the end of our adventure treks, a slow steady walk with few short ups and down more on the gradual winding trail with last final climb for an hour or less to reach at Lukla by lunchtime. At Lukla for final overnight stop within the high Khumbu area of Everest region with time for walks around the town of Lukla.

Day 09: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
As per schedule flight time for Kathmandu transfer to Lukla air terminal or Tenzing-Hillary airport after getting boarding pass and through security board in a small plane for the wonderful flight back to Kathmandu.
During air enjoy fantastic views of the Himalayan range of mountains with last views of Mt. Everest as the plane lands at Kathmandu and then transfer back to your hotel after a great fantastic adventure and experience on Everest View Luxury Trekking.

01: How are food and accommodation on Luxury treks?
Simply the best accommodation and meals provided on each and every lodge and resorts on this treks.
Yeti Mountain Home Resorts are renowned for great services and as well our guide will make sure each and every items and rooms provided by the hotels as per your expectations. Sometime vegetables and fresh fruits available according to season wise, where few things might lack as you are trekking around remote destinations, where meals and accommodation will be at its best apart from Kathmandu hotels.


02: Meals and drinking water provided are hygienic?
All the lodge on route are very careful not to lose its long time good reputations and holds its standard providing guest with excellent services and warm hospitality. Where all meals either from menu or set course prepared by expert chef and cooks looking after hygiene and to keep you healthy and happy. But some time people do get stomach disorder can get sick, not from the food and hygiene of the hotels on treks, but due to some other cause related to thin air, air pressure and altitude as well. All water for drinking and to fill your bottles are safe which well boiled and filtered.


03: How are the rooms in every hotels on route?
Around Everest region there are many various standard of lodges, but on this trip where you will be in the best available lodge and resorts with spacious and cozy rooms attached bathrooms running hot and cold waters for shower and bathe. Similar to hotels in Kathmandu or in big cities, where facilities are almost the  same with hydro electricity power for lighting and to charge your gadgets, in some place the resort has its own small generator of electric power either from hydro or solar.Hotels and resorts on route with large and cozy dining rooms with well stocked bar includes fire place to keep the room warm and cozy.


04: Are guide well experienced to take care of us?
No worries, all our guides and staff are well experienced and been in adventure tourism for many decades leading enjoyable holiday and offering information to guest to make their time with us worth-while and delightful.All our guides a fully prepared for emergency if accidents or major sickness happens during the trek and while in Kathmandu.Guides have gone through medical and First Aid course to deal with simple and
minor incidents.


05: How about porters are their strong to carry our baggage?
We always pick strong and cheerful porters in our line of job and trekking, they can carry from 15 kg to 25 kg as per the rules of porter protection act known as PAC, allows maximum of 30 kg to carry by one porter. We do not use young and very old porters which against the rules also, some time we also use pack animals like Jhopkyo (cross breed of normal cow / ox and yaks) or proper Yaks to carry baggage or luggage.


06: How many staff and guide including porters involve on this trek?
Depends upon the size of group where we allocate one porter to carry two people bags not exceeding above weight limit, a guide to led the trek and take care of our guests.In larger groups of 8 pax or more we have more porters and guides to look after our client needs and to show the wonderful areas of Himalaya. All our guides and porters are well medically insured in case of accidents and unfortunate incidents.

Best months and seasons

Normally Everest View Short trek in always can be visit with beautiful panorama mountain views. March to May and September to December are the best time to visit, March to May lively around green hills with wild flower in seasonal bloom, especially the rhododendron of various species, rhododendron also a national flower of Nepal.Most of the days are clear for views and walks during spring and pre-summez season with longer light hour, can be cold during morning and night time as wellin shade.
September to December during autumn / fall and pre winter times much clear with crystal clear blue sky and for views, but short sunlight hours can be freezing cold in the morning and night time with chances of snow sometimes.
