A Deep Journey Into Real Hindu & Buddhist Village Life. This unique 14–21 day photography journey takes you far beyond the tourist world and deep into real Nepali village life, 100 to 200 kilometers away from Kathmandu. All transportation into these remote areas is done by local buses, giving you an authentic experience from the very first day.

Designed for photographers, anthropologists, cultural researchers, and travelers who want to document authentic human life, this trip focuses entirely on people, traditions, daily lifestyle, and local communities — not a city attractions.

You will live in rural Hindu and Buddhist villages where life continues as it has for generations. Expect very simple Nepali-style accommodation, local home-cooked foods, traditional Nepali toilets, and the warm hospitality of villagers. This is for travelers who want to feel the real Nepal — not luxury, not comfort, but genuine human connection.

Along the way, you will witness and photograph rituals, farming routines, elders, children, artisans, and even a traditional Jhakri (Shaman) healing performance, a powerful and rare cultural experience found only in deep rural communities

Week 1 — Hindu Villages (7–9 Days)

Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu     

Welcome at the airport, transfer to guesthouse, trip briefing.

Day 2: Local Market Walk

Visit Ason & Indrachowk to photograph busy Nepali life before heading to rural areas.

Week 1 — Hindu Village Life (Days 3–10)

Travel by local bus (5–7 hours) to a remote Hindu community 100–150 km from Kathmandu.

  • Rustic Nepali homes & traditional architecture

Special Cultural Experience — Jhakri (Shaman) Healing Ritual

Some evenings you will have the rare opportunity to observe a Jhakri, a traditional Nepali healer who performs spiritual healing and rituals.

This is one of the most authentic expressions of Himalayan spiritual life, rarely seen by tourists.
