Chispani Nagarkot Trek of 3 days will certainly delight escaping the busy life of Kathmandu for a few days. During the trek sanctuary of the tranquil surrounding of high green hills and views of mountain panorama.
Firstly, Starting from Kathmandu city drive to the northeast at Sundarijal a small farm town. After that, walk leads to the farm, villages and cool alpine forest to reach the scenic spot at Chisapani. Where sunrise and sunsets view over an array of Himalayan peaks in the comfort of the nice lodge.
The next day, morning walk leads on high ridges within lush green woodland with downs and ups past Chowki-Bhanjyang village and then uphill at famous Nagarkot hill town a place for a stunning panorama of mountains with sunrise and sunsets in the comfort of lovely mountain resorts and the highest point of the journey.
Morning along with breakfast enjoy sunrise views over a chain of Himalayan peaks that extends from Manaslu–Ganesh Himal-Langtang to Jugal Himal and as far towards the eastern horizon within the Everest region.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani 2,175m/7,135 ft- 05/6 hrs.
Day 02: From Chisapani trek to Nagarkot 2,200m/7,217ft – 06/7 hrs
Day 03: Trek to Tilkot resort and Drive to Kathmandu 1,300 m /4,265 ft -04/5hrs.
Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani 2,175m/7,135 ft- 05/6 hrs.
Starting wonderful trek around north of Kathmandu valley rim where morning drive takes you east of Kathmandu city at Sundarijal distance of 15 k.m. away from the city, from here walk climb through farm villages, with views of waterfalls to reach Shivapuri National Park, from here into forest and past farm villages to reach at high Chisapani.
Chisapani located on high hills of Kathmandu valley, where you can feel cooler mountain air at 2, 175 m facing grand views of snowcapped peaks from Annapurna-Manaslu-Ganesh Himal, Lang tang Himal extend as far towards Jugal Himal includes views of Kathmandu valley, this spot also offers stunning sunrise and sunset views as well.
Day 02: Trek to Nagarkot 2,200m/7,217ft - 06/7 hrs
With marvelous scenery of sunrise over high snow capped mountains, morning starts with pleasant walk on gradual winding trail heading into enchanting rhododendron and pine forest with downhill to Chowki-Bhanjyang, a small farm village situated east from Kathmandu valley rim.
After a nice stop walk carry’s on for few hours past Jarsing Pawa as our route diverts with climb to reach at famous view point at Nagarkot hill town for overnight stop.
Nagarkot, located at above 2,200 m high with stunning sunrises and sunset views where it reflects over range of snow-capped mountains from Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang-Jugal Himal Mt. Gaurishankar with views that extends to Everest range.
Day 03: Trek to Tilkot resort and Drive to Kathmandu 1,300 m /4,265 ft -04/5hrs.
From Nagarkot enjoy morning views of stunning sunrise over array of mountains, and then last day of walks starts with winding downhill path all the way to a small farm villages of Tilkot on completing our fabulous short treks of three days taking an interesting drive through typical Newari towns and villages, then back at Kathmandu, after a wonderful experience on high hills and mountains around Kathmandu valley rim.
