Tibet Overland Adventure, an overland journey to Lhasa from Kathmandu, leading you from green lush valley and verdant forest to high and dry country in Tibet. Drive passes through many traditional Tibetan farm villages and towns with amazing views of mountains with Mt. Everest-Cho-Oyu and Shisapangma world highest peaks. Tibet Overland Adventure leads over high 5,000 meters passes passing Nomads / Yak herders camps where you can see Yak grazing on large fields. Slowly this fabulous journey leads to Tibet’s 2nd largest city at Shigatse home of holy Panchen Lama 2nd highest after Dalai Lama. Here visiting beautiful Tashilumpo monastery complex with golden roof and its colorful markets. Our journey continues past Gyantse city leading towards emerald turquoise Yamdrok Thso Lake and over high Kamba-la pass with stunning views of Tibetan landscapes.
Tibet Overland Adventure finally reaches our highlight of this journey in fabled Lhasa, one of the world highest cities at 3,660 m high. Here visiting places of interest Drefung-Shera monasteries including majestic and magnificent Potala Palace the land mark of Lhasa.
After an interesting tour around Lhasa and concluding this marvelous Tibet Overland Adventure with a flight back to Kathmandu with panorama of mountains.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03: Drive to Nylam 3,450 m via Zhangmu (2,300 m) -168 Kms – 06 hrs.
Day 04: Drive to Shegar /Xegar (4, 350 m) – 201 Kms – 04 hrs.
Day 05: Drive to Shigatse / Xhigatse (3,900m) -150 kms – 05 hrs.
Day 06: Drive to Gyantse (3,950m) – 90 Kms – 03 hrs.
Day 07: Drive to Lhasa (3, 650m) – 261 kms – 06 hrs.
Day 08-09: In Lhasa with tour of Lhasa interesting places and Potala Palace.
Day 10: Drive to Gongar airport for the flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 11: International departure for home ward bound.
