Starting this fabulous adventure Around Ganesh Himal Trekking with scenic and interesting drive to warm area of Gorkha district to Arughat town where walk begins.
After trekking around rural farm villages for few days, then into complete wilderness around dense forest of rhododendron-oaks-pines and fir trees with amazing views of Ganesh –Langtang Himal with Manaslu towards west and as far to peaks of Annapurna Himalaya.
As the walk progress reaching our highest point at Pansang Bhanjyang with tremendous panorama of mountains and rolling green hills. This lovely walk leads towards villages of Somdang and Chilme for the drive back to Kathmandu to conclude this marvelous Around Ganesh Himal Trekking with great guidance and service of White Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition including guides, porters.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with tour and trek preparation.

Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
On reaching at Kathmandu international airport where White Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition staff will receive and then transfer you to respective hotels around Kathmandu city. After getting refreshed from the flight our guide briefs you with information of hotel, Kathmandu and Around Ganesh Himal trekking.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour and trek preparation.
Morning our city guide will take you for sightseeing tour at places of interest as Kathmandu valley full of world heritage sites, temples, monasteries, old king’s palaces after an interesting tour back to hotel, preparation for Around Ganesh Himal trekking.
Day 03: Drive to Arughat 600m – 06 hrs.
Morning a long and interesting drive to Arughat village, to start this fabulous adventure around Manaslu, journey reaches at warmer area after going through farm villages and towns, following Trisuli river for few hours as the drive diverts to Arughat via Dhading besi. On reaching Arughat near Buri-Gandaki River for overnight stop, afternoon free for short walk and explore this village / town which was badly damaged by earthquake of 25th May 2015.
Day 04: Trek to Manbu 1,300 m – 06 hrs.
First day walk starts with gradual trail all the way to Arkhet village 1,200 m a nice farm village, from here crossing Buri Gandaki River towards east to reach at Dhading area to Manbu village with slight uphill walk with several zig zag bend for two hours and then passing Bahun gaon with a gentle climb to Manbu village with stunning view of Himal Chuli, Boudha Himal with overnight camp on the school yard.
Day 05: Trek to Lamo Dhunga 2,200 m – 06 hrs.
From Manbu walk to Dhunchet for two hours and then climb past many small villages and around forest, then uphill for an hour to Dhunchet for lunch, climb for another hour on a winding trail with some gradual walk to Lama dhunga for overnight camp.
Day 06: Trek to Nauban Kharka 2,750 m – 06 hrs.
After Lama Dhunga, walk leads to forested area with small streams and then leaving the villages crossing smaller streams on a gentle path for two hours with an uphill to reach Nuaban Kharka with super views of Himal Chuli and Boudha Himal of Manaslu range of mountains.
Day 07: Trek to Yarsa via Khading 2, 570 m – 05 hrs.
From Nauban after a pleasant overnight, morning walk leads to cross Nuaban Bhanjyang for an hour with wonderful views of snow capped peaks in the distance then heading down on the gentle slope to Khading for 3 hours with views of Ganesh III-IV and after Khading continue walk for an hour descending to Yarsa for overnight camp.
Day 08: Trek to Timila school 1,760 m ahead Tirigaon – 06 hrs.
Morning with spectacular views of snowcapped peaks, walk leads for an hour on a steep uphill to Kupchet and then descending to Lapche to cross a small stream reaching at Kapor Gaon, after a nice stop here, our walk continues to Timila school premises which is a mere distance from Tirigagoan village for overnight camp.
Day 09: Trek to Chalisa 1920 m – 05 hrs.
From this nice camp at Timila school compound morning walk follows to Tirigaon taking almost two hours of gentle and moderate walk on a winding path reaching at Tatopani ‘hot spring’ a nice break here for refreshment and a bathe in hot spring, after a wonderful stop walk continues on a winding road for an hour to Dudari Khola and then climb high up to Chalisa for overnight camp just above the village with a nice camping place offering tremendous views of surrounding landscapes in the shade of snow capped mountains.
Day 10: Trek to Marmelung Kharka 3,200 m – 06 hrs.
Morning visit an old monastery of the village and then downhill to Tipling River valley gorge, and across a bridge with steep uphill to Tipling for another two hours continue climb till Marmelung Kharka is reached for overnight stop.
Day 11: Trek to Pangsang La 3,850 meters – 04 hrs.
After a great time at Marmelung Kharka, morning walk leads to a climb on the forested ridge to Pansang pass at 3,850 meters high with tremendous views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu range and as far to Annapurna at Pangsang la for lunch and overnight stop with the marvelous views.
Day 12: A rest day for short hikes.
A marvelous place for rest day with superb panorama of mountains from Annapurna-Lamjung-Manaslu-Ganesh to Langtang Himal, one take an optional hike on this least explored area with chances of seeing some wild life as well.
Day 13: Trek to Gatlang 2,200 meters via Somdang – 06 hrs.
After a wonderful time at Pansang Bhanjyang, walk leads towards Langtang area descending for long hours of about three hours to reach at Somdang a large Tamang village with farm lands, from here walking on the main road for a while and then a slow short climb to another large village of Gatlang for overnight stop, here with home stay accommodation facilities.
Day 14: Trek to Chilme 1,650 m – 06 hrs.
After a wonderful time in the Tamang villages and at Gatlang, walk leads to Chilime River, the river which flows from the source of Ganesh and Langtang Himal range of mountains and as well North at Kyoring area in Tibet border. Walk is on the gradual uphill passing several farm villages and farm lands and reaching at Chilime where theirs is new hydro project for electricity power for Langtang and Ganesh villages region. After lunch, explore the local villages and with walk with views of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himal.
Day 15: Drive back to Kathmandu via Syabrubesi or Dhunche – 06 hrs.
From Chilme a short walk to our vehicle for interesting drive to Kathmandu passing through Dhunche town drive continues on good road, on reaching Kathmandu after a fascinating trip around Ganesh Himal, in Kathmandu afternoon free for individual activities and shopping.
Day 16: International departure for home ward bound.
After a memorable and great adventure in Nepal around Ganesh Himal trekking and great services of White Hills Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition guides, our staff transfers you for final departure homeward bound flights.
