Anyway, Chhumrung is a beautiful Landscape village. First, 45 minutes’ walk down to the Chhomrung Khola (Steam). The stream water comes from Mt. Hiuchuli. When we are walking downhill, we can see Annapurna south in the front and Hiuchuli. Waterfalls come from Hiuchuli via hills.

Some of local peoples depend on farming and agricultural. We meet many buffalo grazing and rice paddy as well as maize farm. On the way, my friend’s new friend MIKE slip on the buffalo sheets. Anyway, it’s also fun but he has small pain when he falls on the road because of buffalo Pu.

We cross Chhumrong Suspensicious Bridge then trek to Sinuwa. The trail, slightly uphill and small flat. From upper sinuwa, we can see breathtaking views of Modi River and Valley. Until Sinuwa, the trekking path is nice views, not George. Most of the time, we can see the nice valley and mountain scenery.

From Upper sinuwa to Machhapurchhe Base Camp, the road is George. We have to always follow Modi Khola (River) and Jungle. On the way, there are also a village and tea houses for food and overnight stay. Trek goes ahead for 2 hours to the bamboo village. We have lunch Dhal-Bhat. My guide always loves dhal-bhat two times a day. I can’t tea every day the same food.

That’s why Yak meat is not possible at Annapurna Base Camp.
