Traverse over the remote country of the far end of Langtang Valley. Leaving the valley rim of Langtang, cross Tilman Col at 5,320 m or 17, 454 feet high.

The next favorable time is the autumn/fall season, from September until November. Days are crystal clear with blue Himalayan sky for views and exciting walks, but get dark soon earlier. Limited sunlight hours from 6 a.m. till 5:30 p.m. Cold morning, late afternoon, and nights. Expect snow on walks and overnight stops from 2,000 meters above.
