Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu 1,300m and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour and trek preparation.
Day 03: Drive to Sundarijal & trek to Chisapani 2,300 m – 04 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Gul Bhanjyang 2,125 m – 05 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Kutumsang 2,446 m – 04 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Thadepati 3,597 m – 04 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Malemchigaon 2,560 m – 05 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Tarke Gyang 2,590 m – 04 hours.
Day 09: Trek to Sermathang 2,610 m – 04 hours.
Day 10: Trek and drive from Malemchipul Bazaar to Kathmandu – 04 hrs.
Day 11: Transfer to Airport for the International departure.

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport where White Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition staff will receive and then transfer you to respective hotels around Kathmandu city. After getting refreshed from the flight our guide briefs you with information of hotel, Kathmandu and Helambu Cultural Trek with welcome dinner in a nice Nepali restaurant.

Day 02:Sightseeing tour and trek preparation.

Morning our city guide will take you for sightseeing tour at places of interest as Kathmandu valley full of world heritage sites, temples, monasteries, old king’s palaces after an interesting tour back to hotel, preparation for Helambu Cultural Trek.

Day 03:Drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani 2,300 m – 04hrs.

Starting this fabulous Helambu trek with morning drive towards east of Kathmandu valley rim, reaching at Sundarijal situated 15 k.m. away from Kathmandu city, from Sundarijal our route leads to uphill climb through farm villages, cascade of waterfalls and reaching at an entrance of Shivapuri National Park, from here through patch of forest and scattered farm field villages to reach at Chisapani located on a ridge north of Kathmandu valley rim high hills, where air is cooler at an height of 2,300 meters with grand views of snowcapped peak ranges from Annapurna-Manaslu-Ganesh Himal, Lang tang Himal extend towards Jugal Himal range including views of Kathmandu valley, this spot offers stunning sunrise and sunset views as well.

Day 04:Trek to Gulbhanjyang 2,125 m – 05 hrs.

After a lovely and pleasant morning with views of sunrise over mountains, walk starts with descend to a nice village of Pati Bhanjyang of Hindu Brahman and Chettries area, from here walk continues with a climb for an hour and then with gradual winding path into cool forest and villages reaching at Gulbhanjyang for overnight stop after a good walks of 5 hours.

Day 05:Trek to Kutumsang 2,446 m – 04 hrs.

Today walk is quite short, morning starts following a path with a climb and short descend leading to Chipplin village, from walking through rural farm villages with views landscapes and rolling green hills till the trek comes to an end on reaching Kutumsang, a mix farm village of Sherpa-Hylamo and Tamang ethnic tribes of people offering views of snowcapped mountains.Afternoon free at leisure and explore this small lovely village and its scenic surrounding.

Day 06:Trek to Thadepati 3, 597 m – 05 hrs.

From Kutumsang, morning walk leads to a climb north towards Yurin Danda ridge and into lovely pristine forest of rhododendron, pines and oak trees heading to a small pass at 3,510 meter and then with a short descend into forest area.After few hours of good walk into the cool forest area and then reaching an open wide area with Nepal army post and small teahouses, from this isolated spot walk leads to a short climb diverting from the main trail that joins Langtang and Gosainkund area with Helambu. Our marvelous walk ends at Thadepati for lunch and overnight stop.Thadepati with few lodges the highest point of this trip offering grand panorama and amazing views of rolling hills and high snow peaks of Langtang and Jugal mountain range.

Day 07:Trek to Malemchigaon 2,560 m – 05 hrs.

After a nice overnight at Thadepati, continue walk with a short climb to top ridge, then descend into dense rhododendron, hemlocks, firs and pines tree lines forested area for few hours, as the walk continues further passing several Sheppard’s huts of temporary settlements to reach at Melamchi Khola (stream), crossing over and then a gentle climb to reach Malemchigaon for overnight stop, this is a typical mountain village of Buddhist culture where Hyalmo people settlement starts, houses furnished with decorated  pretty intricate carvings, after lunch free at leisure to explore this nice village as Hyalmo tribe with Sherpa and Tamang similarity in religion, culture and way of life, this tribe is near to an extinct only thousands exists in Nepal and in India-Darjeeling and Sikkim.

Day 08:Trek to Tarke Gyang 2,590 m – 04 hours.

A short day walk towards main Helambu village at Tarke Gyang, leading downhill to Melamchi River, after crossing climb above the river for an hour to Tarkeghyang village via Nakote village.Tarkegyang, famous for delicious green apples and intricate wood carving furniture’s of Tibetan design.
Afternoon at leisure, explore this lovely village, where windows and furniture have nice traditional carving, visit of old Buddhist monastery of Ama Yangri on top of the village.

Day 09:Trek to Sermathang 2,610 m – 04 hours.

Morning on leaving this nice village walk leads on the downhill through beautiful forest and passing many chortens (Buddhist prayer monuments), summer meadows to reach Gangyul a small village, then following the path with wonderful views of rolling hills to reach at Shermathang for overnight stop, another pretty Hyalmo village of Helambu here with time to visit another old monastery.

Day 10:Trek to Malemchipul Bazaar, drive to Kathmandu – 05 hrs drive

After a wonderful time in the high mountains, walk continues for few hours towards Melamchi town and its bazaar, from here few hour drives back to Kathmandu,in Kathmandu transfer to respective hotels with free afternoon and farewell dinner in typical Nepalese style.

Day 11:International departure for home ward bound.

After a wonderful trip around Helambu Cultural Trek, with great services of White Hills Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition guides, as per the flight time our staff transfers you for the final departure homeward bound.

  2. Dormitory rooms, Guest houses and 1-5 star hotels in Kathmandu and pokhara. As your    choice. Normally without bargaining we will give you 2/3 star hotels.
  3. Wel come dinner and farewell dinner.
  4. Normal permit and TIMS card.
  5. Transportations Tourist bus and Local bus + Taxi.
  6. Normal teahouse/ accommodation during the trek.
  7. Three times meals (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner) a day during the trek.
  8. Government licensed holder guide who can speak extra languages (like Chinese, Japanese , French, Korean, Malaysian, Dutch, Italy, Spanish and Hindi) as yours needed and assistance guide(7 trekkers:1 assistance guide)
  9. 1 strong and friendly potter for 2 trekkers( A POTTER can carry mximum 25kg).
