An exciting and adventurous journey leads you to Everest Base Camp via Cho-La pass, with expert guidance of White Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition after visiting picturesque Gokyo and turquoise lakes with Gokyo Ri climb.

A wonderful adventure with perfect combination covering best of both scenic sides of Khumbu and Everest region includes beautiful Gokyo Lake with rugged windswept high glacial landscapes at Everest base camp with adventurous climb over high and scenic Cho-la pass. Gokyo Lake a picturesque spot surrounded with mountains including world 6th highest Mt. Cho-Oyu.

An adventure of a life time experience on high valley of Gokyo Lake with scenic walk visiting around traditional Sherpa villages of Buddhist culture and heritage. Starting Everest base camp via Cho-la pass with short flight to Lukla, where all treks and adventure around Everest start and ends. From Lukla walking past Ghat- Phakding – Monjo to reach at famous Namche Bazaar, at Namche with acclimatization day with short walks to its view-points or just relax and enjoy the views, Namche with fine shops-stores and many good restaurants and cyber café.

Our adventure continues leading to lovely rhododendron-pines and fir forest with views of Mt. Everest-Amadablam-Tharmarsku-Kwangde and many other close peaks. After few hours on the main trail of Everest our walk diverts heading uphill to Mong to reach our destination at Gokyo Lake and Gokyo Ri.

Walk leads past Dole and Macherma where tree lines fade away to reach glacier and moraine country at Gokyo Lake. At Gokyo with beautiful surrounding and hike to Gokyo Ri view points with fantastic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu and Mt. Makalu.

From Gokyo our next adventure leads over high Cho-la pass to reach world famous Everest base camp and high Kalapathar, on reaching Everest base camp the highlight of this great adventure, enjoy the marvelous views of mountains with Khumbu ice-falls and glaciers.

Our adventure completes adding one more highlight with a climb to Kalapathar for outstanding views of mountains with Everest at mere distance.

Everest base camp via Cho-la pass trek concludes at Lukla with a flight back to Kathmandu, after enjoyable moment around world highest peaks and great service of White Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition.

Day 01:           Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02:           In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.

Day 04:           Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 05 hrs.

Day 17:           Trek to Lukla – 04 hrs.
Day 18:           Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.

Day 01:          Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport where White Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition staff will receive and then transfer you to respective hotels around Kathmandu city. After getting refreshed from the flight our guide briefs you with information of hotel, Kathmandu and Everest base camp via Cho-la pass trekking with welcome dinner in a nice Nepali restaurant.

Day 02:          Sightseeing tour and trek preparation.

Morning our city guide will take you for sightseeing tour at places of interest as Kathmandu valley full of world heritage sites, temples, monasteries, old king’s palaces after an interesting tour back to hotel, preparation for Everest base camp via Cho-la pass trekking.

Day 03:           Fly to Lukla 2,830 m & trek to Phakding 2,640 m – 04 hrs.

Morning flight to Lukla with mountain views including Everest, on reaching Lukla with time for rest, then start first day trekking to Phakding village. Walk leads past farm villages with few short ups and down, beautiful views along the walk to Phakding for overnight stop.

 Day 04:           Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 05 hrs.

After overnight at Phakding, morning trek leads over Dudh Kosi River and then past interesting villages of Toc-Toc, Bhenkar and Monjo to reach at Sagarmatha National Park entrance gate. From here walk on riverbanks for few hours, on crossing last bridge with climb to famous Namche Bazaar where you can explore this small town with facilities of nice restaurant, pubs, cyber café, post office, and banks.

Day 05:           Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.

A right place for rest and acclimatization day before trek to higher country, here take a short hike to Everest View Hotel or walk to Namche view point above at Sagarmatha National Park museum for super views of Everest, Amadablam and adjoining peaks, and visit of museum.

Day 06:          Trek to Dole 4,110m – 06 hrs.

From Namche heading on quiet trail to Gokyo first hour with moderate walks till Kyangima near Shanasa, around chances of seeing some wildlife the colorful Danphe pheasant (Impeyan Pheasant) National bird of Nepal and elusive musk deer, sometime even herd of Himalayan Thar (mountain goat). From here our route diverts towards north with a slow climb to the ridge at Mong 3,973 meters.

After Mong descend to Dudh Kosi at Phortse Thanghka. Continue walk to Dole as the path leads into rhododendron forest passing Tongba village and Gyele to reach at Dole for overnight stop, with views of Khumbila and Tawache 6,542m.

Day 07:           Trek to Machherma 4,470m-04 hrs.

After Dole, continue walk along valley on level path for an hour to Lhabarma Kharka at 4,325 m and Luza 4,390 m; then skirting round the ridge, then heading downhill to Machherma for lunch and overnight stop, afternoon free for acclimatization and short hike for views of Mt. Cho Oyo 8,210m with Ngozumba Glacier.

Day 08:           Trek to Gokyo 4,800m -04 hrs.

From this nice area walk leads to Gokyo Lake following scenic trail to Pangka 4,545m, then climbing a rocky path into ablation valley passing first lake and second lake, then reaching at third lake known as Dudh Pokhari where Gokyo located at 4,790 meters. Acclimatization afternoon with half day frees walk around lake with views of world’s 06th highest Mt. Cho Oyo and Gyachung Kang.

Day 09:           At Gokyo hike to Gokyo-Ri 5,357m.

Morning hike to Gokyo Ri at 5,357m the highlight of this journey the top offers awesome panorama of world’s highest mountains Mt. Cho Oyo, Gyachung Kang,
Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Cholatse, Taweche and to the east views of Mt. Makalu.

After a great exciting moment descend to Gokyo for lunch with rest of the afternoon free to enjoy surrounding beautiful sceneries.

Day 10:           Gokyo to Thaknak 4,750m – 04 hrs

From Gokyo after a pleasant and wonderful time, today walk for few hours to Thaknak at the bottom of Chugyuma or Tsho-la pass, near Na village at the foot of Ngozumba glacier.

Day 11:           Cross Tsho-la 5,367m and trek to Dzongla 4,830 m -07 hrs.

Starting early morning for long climb to the top of Cho (Tsho)-la pass walk leads over rocky moraine (in snow condition this will be hard and tough job to find the trail in snow) however in dry season walk on rubble and moraine to reach at the top enclosed within peaks of Cholatse, Nirekha and Taboche, after a tough climb descend to a small valley at Dzong-la for overnight halt.

Day 12:           Trek to Lobuche 4,940 m – 05 hrs.

After wonderful stop in Dzongla, morning walk follows an uphill path for an hour and then a nice pleasant walk near Thugla (Dugla) located on the midway joining with Pheriche valley, Dingboche and Cholatse pass and towards Everest Base Camp & Kalapathar. From here a gradual walk to Lobuche for overnight.

Day 13:           Trek to Gorak Shep 5,170 m and Everest Base Camp 5,364 m and return to Gorakshep – 06 hrs.

Today our final adventure leads to Everest Base Camp, starting with moderate walk for few hour and then climb over glacier and moraine to Gorakshep located at the bottom of Mt. Pumori and Kalapathar hill and view point.

From here walk to Everest Base Camp following the path close to Khumbu glacier all the way to base camp. On reaching base camp marvel the views of Kuhmbu Ice Fall and glaciers. After enjoying views of ice falls and mountains, completing our aim and dreams, walk back to Goarkshep for overnight stop.

Day 14:           Hike to Kalapathar 5,545 m trek to Pheriche 4,240m – 05 hrs.

Morning climb on top to Kalapathar at 5,545 meters, highest point of this trip with panorama of mountains and views of Mt. Everest at close distance. After a great time descend back to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue trek to Thugla with downhill to Pheriche for overnight stop.

Day 15:           Trek to Thyangboche – 05 hrs.

Return journey an easy walk dropping heights every few hours with downhill with few short ups to Pangboche and then after the bridge two hours climb to Thyangboche for overnight stop, a beautiful and scenic spot with famous important monastery surrounded with green environment of forest and views of mountains including Mt. Everest.

Day 16:           Trek to Monjo 2,860m – 06 hrs.

After a great time on high mountains descend to Imjatse River with climb for an hour to Sanasa. From here walk with few short up and downs to Namche Bazaar, after a nice stop, downhill walk to Dudh Kosi river valley to Monjo for overnight stop.

Day 17:           Trek to Lukla – 04 hrs.

Morning walk leads back to Phakding and then back to Lukla with final climb of this adventure, and then on reaching Lukla celebrate our last day in Everest area with fellow trekkers and staff.

Day 18:           Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.

From Lukla an early morning flight to Kathmandu, at Kathmandu domestic airport our guide and staff transfer you back to your hotels with rest of the day free for individual activities.

Day 19:           In Kathmandu free day with sightseeing tour.
A reserve or spare day in Kathmandu in case of flight delay or cancellation due to bad weather which occurs sometimes, as Himalayan weather can be unpredictable if all goes well enjoy the extra day with tour around Kathmandu-Patan and Bhaktapur.

Day 20:           International departure for home ward bound.

After a memorable time and great adventure around Khumbu area and Everest base camp via Cho-la pass trekking, with excellent services of White Hills Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition guides, as per the flight time our staff transfers you for the final departure homeward bound.
