This wonderful and exciting “Ghorepani & Pun Hill Panorama” offers fabulous views of Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) and Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft) Mt. Machhapuchare ‘Fish-Tail’ 6,997 m and world 8th highest Mt. Manaslu 8,163 m with 7th world highest Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 meters.

Starting this marvelous Ghorepani & Pun Hill Panorama trek with a drive from Kathmandu to famous touristic Pokhara city with beautiful Phewa and Begnas Lake, in the shade of Annapurna Himalaya and majestic Mt. Machhapuchare ‘Fish-Tail’ that towers above Pokhara valley.

Walk leads uphill through nice traditional hill villages of Gurung and Pun / Magar at Ghorepani surrounded with enchanting forest of rhododendron and pine trees including fascinating views of mountains.

At Ghorepani hike up to Pun Hill at 3,210 meters the highest spot of the trek with stunning sunrise views over chain of snow clad peaks.

Our return journey leads to lovely villages of Gandruk and Landruk to complete this wonderful Ghorepani & Pun Hill Panorama trekking back in Pokhara with great guidance and

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing and trip preparations.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 950 m a 06 hrs journey
Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,460 m
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,840m – 05 hrs
Day 06: Morning hike to Pun-Hill and trek to Tadapani 2,721m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Landruk 1,530m – 05 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Thulo Kharka 2,050 – 05 hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Kande 1,460m and drive to Pokhara.
Day 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu (by air) or overland drive.
Day 11: International departure for home ward bound.

Day 01:          Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport where White Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition staff will receive and then transfer you to respective hotels around Kathmandu city. After getting refreshed from the flight our guide briefs you with information of hotel, Kathmandu and Ghorepani & Pun Hill Panorama trekking.

Day 02:          Sightseeing tour and trek preparation.

Morning our city guide will take you for sightseeing tour at places of interest as Kathmandu valley full of world heritage sites, temples, monasteries, old king’s palaces after an interesting tour back to hotel, preparation for Annapurna area to Ghorepani & Pun Hill Panorama trekking. 

Day 03:           Drive to Pokhara 860m (220 k.m) -06 hrs.

Starting our wonderful journey to Annapurna area to Ghorepani & Pun Hill Panorama trekking with a drive on Nepal’s main and interesting highway to reach at Pokhara, drive leads through many farm villages and towns with views of snowcapped peaks. Finally drive ends at Pokhara near beautiful Phewa Lake where most of the nice hotels are located.

Day 04:           Drive to Nayapul 1,100m and trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,460m – 04 hrs.

After a stop in Pokhara, morning two hours’ drive from Pokhara through mid-hills towns and villages with views of Annapurna mountain range including Mt. Machhapuchare “ The Fish Tail,” after interesting drive reaching at Nayapul (new bridge). From here our trek starts with through nice village of Bhirethati encountering trekkers, mule and donkey trains, our route leads on ancient Trans-Himalayan Salt Trade Route, walking through farm lands and villages, to reaching at Hille and Tirkhedhunga village for first night stop in a nice lodge. 

Day 05:           Trek to Ghorepani 2,840 m – 05 hours.

Morning walk leads on steep path for near two hours on stone steps all the way to Ulleri village with views of Annapurna South and Mt. Machhapuchare, after climb walk gets better on winding path into cool forest path, walking in alpine forest of rhododendron trees slowly walk reaches with a short climb to reach Ghorepani village with views of Mt. Dhaulagiri range of peaks, Ghorepani located on high spot t of old Trans-Himalayan Salt Trade Route which stretches all the way to Upper Mustang unto Tibet the people of this area are of Pun Magar tribe.

This village offers hike to Pun Hill offering super views of world highest mountains and striking sunrise and sunset. 

Day 06:          Morning hike to Poon-Hill and trek to Tadapani 2,630 m – 05 hrs.

Early morning hike up to Poon-Hill at 3,210m this wonderful hill offers sunrise views over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu to Annapurna and as far to Ganesh Himal, panorama of mountains and sunrise views, walk continues from Ghorepani on scenic trail to Tadapani, walk reaches another high hill with more views of snow capped mountains and back into enchanting woodland a paradise for naturalist and botanical people, after a downhill walk and with last short climb towards overnight stop at Tadapani a fabulous spot with great views of Annapurna South, Huinchuli, Fish Tail and A II and A IV.

Day 07:           Trek to Landruk 1,530m – 05 hrs.

Morning after breakfast with great superb views walk leads through magnificent forest reminds you of the film ‘The Lord of the Rings’ a pleasant walk past Bhaise Kharka and then on the downhill and gradual winding path and with the to Ghandruk village for lunch with views of Annapurna South, Huinchuli and towering Mt. Machhapuchhre “ The Fish Tail” Ghandruk a large village mainly inhabited by Gurung tribe, famous as Gorkha soldiers overseas, besides being in the army they are farmers and Sheppard’s of Tibetan Buddhist religion.

After nice break at Ghandruk, walk continues on downhill with stone steps and then into a cool shade of forest passing several farm villages and hamlets reaching at Phedi between the high hills of Landruk and Ghandruk by the raging Modi River, from here crossing a long suspension bridge over Modi River and on the warm areas with paddy terraces, walk gets easier and with short uphill climb to reach another large village at Landruk for overnight stop with views of Annapurna South and Huinchuli.

Day 08:          Trek to Thulo Kharka / Australian Camp 2,050 m – 05 hrs.

Morning walk is easier on the gradual path with few short ups and down on the winding path, passing several nice villages of Tolka and Bheda Kharka, and then 45 minutes climb in the shade of cool forest to Deurali at 2,150 meters high with great views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Huinchuli, Mt. Machhapuchare and of Ghandruk village towards west.

From Deurali an enjoyable walk through forest with superb views of
Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu all the way to Pothana village for short rest with fantastic views of mountains walk into cool forest with last uphill reaching at Thulo Kharka also called Australian Camp, a magnificent place located on a large meadows with parallel views of Annapurna and Manaslu range of mountains.

Day 09:           Trek to Kande and drive to Pokhara.

Catching another beautiful sunrise views over mountain panorama final walk of this trip leads downhill to road head at Kande village for the drive back to Pokhara after an hour nice ride. 

Day 10:           Drive / Fly back to Kathmandu.

After a marvelous time on high mountains and hills of Annapurna Himal, morning depart Pokhara after breakfast with overland drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 11:           International departure for home ward bound.

After a memorable time and great adventure around Annapurna area to Ghorepani & Pun Hill Panorama trekking with excellent services of White Hills Hill Adventure Treks & Expedition guides, as per the flight time our staff transfers you for the final departure homeward bound.

-Dormitory rooms, Guest houses and 1-5 star hotels in Kathmandu and pokhara. As your    choice. Normally without bargaining we will give you 2/3 star hotels.

-Wel come dinner and farewell dinner.
